A Durban based digital studio seeks a Joomla Web Developer to take on the development of digital content across web, email, social and other digital communications using Photoshop, Dreamweaver, PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS and JQuery; integrating with CMS frameworks such as Joomla and Wordpress. Your role will be the development and maintenance of online media based on the design and other requirements as set out by our creative director, and by our project manager.

You can be a little rough around the edges but must show a willingness to learn and develop your skills. Roles and Duties

• Custom website development (Desktop and Mobile) based on supplied designs and/or creative brief
• Maintenance / Enhancement of existing websites based on client requirements
• Maintain high standards for execution and attention to detail in all aspects of development

Technical Requirements

• Photoshop, Dreamweaver, PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, Jquery
• Integration with CMS frameworks: Wordpress / Joomla
• E-commerce platforms such as Opencart (Advantageous)

Qualities

• Talent and passion for web development.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to take project from signed off design to completion.
• Must enjoy working in a close team environment but also able to think independently.
• Ability to take the initiative in problem-solving.
• Have good organisational and time management skills.
• Communicate well, both verbally and written.
